外商化學電子材料Asia Operations Director
This position will be reporting to the Executive Vice President, Global Electronic Materials and Asia-Pacific who is based in Shanghai.
Our budget is up to NT$5 million per annum inclusive of everything
The Operations Director – Asia and Global Electronic Materials is accountable for developing and implementing continuous systemic improvements to our existing operations and supply chain processes and developing new supply chains as necessary to meet customer needs while optimizing the company’s profitability. This strategic leader works collaboratively with our sales and marketing personnel in each region to develop and deliver operational supply chains that support our continued expansion into new markets in Asia. As the regional and global business thrives, this role is expected to expand in scope to over-sight of all Plants and Tollers in the Asia region.
As the company continues to expand into current and new markets throughout Asia, this role will play a key role in implementing Operational best practices. This includes implementing SAP and providing leadership and continuous development in all areas of operations (EHS&S, Quality, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Manufacturing, Tolling, Logistics, S&OP, and Regulatory).
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
BS/BA in a related field (Engineering, Supply Chain, Business)
APICS or CSCMP Certifications
Six Sigma and/or Lean Certification a plus
MBA a plus
Experience:
Plant start-up and Plant Management
Minimum 5-7 years experience in a leadership role in Supply Chain
Physical Requirements
Must have the physical ability to reach all work areas in a plant (i.e. climb ladders, walk catwalks, handle heights to 100 feet, etc.), to lift, twist and turn up to 50 lbs. (i.e. open and close large valves, inspect equipment, don emergency equipment, etc.) and to expeditiously lead plant emergency evacuations. Due to safety sensitive nature of job, must pass regular & routine chemical dependency testing.
Must be able to travel globally up to 50% of time.
Chemical/pharmaceutical/microelectronics experience desirable.
Skills/Competencies:
Highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong data management and analysis skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects. Prioritize tasks to ensure day to day elements are managed.
Demonstrated ability to build effective teams, set direction and get commitment from employees
Must build influence relationships with Global Directors and utilize resources outside the region to build Asia capabilities.
