Take responsibility of tooling plan during RFQ stage
Take responsibility of part design review to eliminate tooling concern during product development period, include any design change
Take responsibility of tooling design review, DFM review
Take responsibility of reviewing and approving 2D drawings in tooling parts.
Take responsibility of component quality of tooling parts during NPI stage
Take responsibility of driving tooling development to follow Jabil standard process
Take responsibility of schedule commitment to NPI build in tooling parts
Support to NPI build
Support to communicate with SCM in tooling relative issues
New technology introduce
1, Bachelor’s degree (or above, and major in ME, or other relatives) from four-year college or university with at least four years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
2, With experience in working with customers/R&D in product development, include both of NPI and MR stage
3, With communication skill/experience among cross functional teams
4, Familiar with the tooling development process
5, Understand the fundamentals and principles of tooling development, familiar with topics on
a.Tooling design
b.Molding or stamping process
c.Material science, like metal, polymer, rubber
d.Mechanics
f.CAD program, like Pro-E, UG, OSD…
6. Able to speak English. (in order to liaise with associates from multinational counterpart) |
